Stockholmradio - the Swedish Coast Radio Station !

Since May 1, 2003 Stockholmradio is a subsidiary to the Viamare Group

  • One of the main services of Stockholmradio is the Coast Radio Station, providing merchant ships, passenger ferries, fishing vessels, pleasure boats etc, with phone links to the public network, navigational warnings, sea weather forecasts, gale warnings and Boating Assistance.
    The CRS operates on HF, MF and VHF.
  • Stockholmradio is also one of the very few Air Operational Controls - AOC or Long Distance Operational Controls - LDOC in Europe, serving the aviation community world-wide with flight operational phone patches, message delivery, meteorological info etc.
    The LDOC operates on HF only.
  • Stockholmradio is situated in Nacka Strand, just east of the Swedish capital.
  • Stockholmradio is manned by 20 skilled radio operators.
